The city marathon returns next month with a new route that passes through the old town and along the waterfront.
Organisers expect 15,000 runners across the full marathon, the half marathon and a family fun run.
Several main roads will close from 5am to 1pm on race day. Organisers will publish a full list of closures two weeks before the race.
For the first time, runners will be able to track their times live on their phones.
Registration closes next Friday. Places in the family fun run are free for children under 12.
