Under-17 girls squad unveils new coach
The former international takes over with qualifiers six weeks away.
The under-17 girls' national team has a new coach, a former international midfielder who has led a youth academy for eight years.
She takes over with qualifiers six weeks away and has called 30 players to a training camp next week.
"I want a team that keeps the ball and is not afraid to take risks," she told reporters.
Several players in the camp have never played for the national team. The coach says she picked them after watching more than 40 school and club matches.
The final squad of 21 will be named at the end of the camp.
