Local club books first continental final in 20 years

A late header sent the city into celebration and the club into the final.

A header in the 88th minute sent the city's oldest football club into its first continental final in two decades.

The goal came from a corner, after the visitors had dominated the second half. Fans stayed in the stadium for an hour after the final whistle.

"This is for everyone who stayed with us in the bad years," the captain said.

The final will be played over two legs next month. Ticket sales for the home leg open on Monday, with a limit of four tickets per person.

The club says it will set up screens in two public squares for fans who cannot get tickets.
